A successfully launched “loaning” program where Encompass Elements now owns the production of graphics, hardware, and accessories, in addition to the fulfillment of the material on behalf of the partnered agency and the Pharmaceutical company.
This afforded further opportunities to co-ship marketing materials with the convention displays. Average savings of $40,000 - $50,000 a year by moving hardware/ accessories parts from dormant Brands to active Brands. Accountability and ownership at the Rep level backed by a solution driven distribution team who ensures needs are always met.

Overview

Encompass Elements has a relationship with the Pharmaceutical and Marketing agency. The agency was responsible for the production of graphics, hardware, and accessories for small convention style material for the pharmaceutical company. The agency placed the business with a vendor who was responsible for the fulfillment of the material. The vendor would ship to, and receive back, the material at the commencement of the meetings. Unfortunately the vendor was unable to account for the inventory once in the field. Units were lost, reporting was lacking, and overall quality of the units in circulation continued to decline. In an effort to meet demands, expenses continued to increase as replacement of displays was the solution in the absence of a strong distribution program.

Solution

Encompass Elements (EE) was already hosting an ordering site for the Pharmaceutical Company by which all marketing materials were being ordered and distributed to the Sales Reps in the field. We leveraged our knowledge, experience, and capabilities to integrate the new ask into our everyday business. We worked with the agency to develop rules of engagement for a “loaning program” that would control inventory levels and access. This was inclusive of a return process with supporting system and team communication to enforce accountability for the loaning of meeting displays. Supporting analytics, with traceability from dock to the field, reinforced ownership at the “borrowers” level.
